There’s something lovely about getting together, taking a little time out and making something by hand, especially in the run-up to Christmas. This December, we’re delighted to welcome local artist Claire Wilcocks back for a festive Sip & Paint session at Johns.

Claire has been a long-standing friend of Johns, and we’ve loved building our relationship with her over the years. As a local artist, she brings a little creativity and character to our community, and we’re always pleased to find opportunities to work together and bring people together in a different way.

Get creative with your Christmas cards and gift labels

Join Claire for a relaxed, guided painting session where you’ll have the chance to create your own Christmas cards and gift labels. Whether you’re a confident painter or someone who hasn’t picked up a paintbrush in years, it’s all about having a go, enjoying the process and making something personal to take home.

Your handmade cards and gift labels will add a thoughtful touch to Christmas presents, and you might even discover a new creative hobby along the way!

Of course, no festive get-together would be complete without a little something to sip and nibble. Prosecco and nibbles are included, giving you the perfect excuse to settle in, enjoy good company and get into the Christmas spirit.

An evening to slow down and enjoy

December can be a busy time, so our Sip & Paint session is a chance to pause, get creative and enjoy a few hours away from the Christmas rush. Come along with a friend, make something lovely and enjoy an evening celebrating local talent and the simple pleasure of doing something together.
