Dear Friends and Customers. Firstly, thank you for your loyal support and especially since March 2020 when we have all found ourselves in a very challenging and worrying time. Our delivery service was re-instated in the first lockdown and was incredibly popular when many of you required a delivery as you were self-isolating or shielding. We have maintained this service right the way through the pandemic but have now put extra resources in to ensure that we can meet the demand during this January/February lockdown and deliver your shopping to you in a timely, efficient & safe manner. Johns will remain open once again in both villages throughout this lockdown as an essential service with our main priority being the safety of our staff and customers. Hand sanitiser, protective screens, social distancing and limiting the amount of customers in our stores are all part of our COVID-19 secure policy that has been in operation for many months now. We are here for you to shop safely and with confidence in our stores for all your essentials and treats but if you are staying at home or shielding, our home delivery service is available to you. To support this we have laid out below the days that we will be delivering to your area. You can simply pick up the phone to your closest Johns’ store, place your order with one of our team members and the goods will be delivered to you on the specified next delivery date. We’re just finalising changes for our new order form and online shop so will announce these in the next few days.
What new products we’ve introduced since Lockdown 1
Behind the scenes we’ve been getting ready for the winter months and another potential lockdown for some time. Our website, www.johnsofinstow.co.uk/shop now allows you to order online with a full range of deli favourites and every day essentials. We’re fully stocked and receive fresh deliveries daily. We’ve introduced over 500 new delicious food & drink products in store to ensure that we give you the best treats and something to look forward to from delicious independent wines, deli foods from Spain and Italy, fresh and frozen dishes with our kitchens constantly producing homemade meals that you can enjoy at home. A loyalty card scheme is now fully operational giving you exclusive offers and points to save towards a special treat. Our aim is to help you through these times with our quality food and drinks!
