🌼 Honey & Beekeepers
Hall’s Honey
Nestled in the rolling fields and hedgerows of North Devon, Hall’s Honey has been producing artisan honey since 1999. Founder Toby Hall began beekeeping as a teenager, and today the business continues to thrive with honey sourced from local wildflower meadows. Their runny honey boasts a delicate floral sweetness, perfect drizzled over yogurt, stirred into tea, or used to balance rich cheeses — with variations from soft‑set to heather honey that capture the season’s unique pollen profile.
North Devon Queens
A family‑run honey producer based near South Molton, North Devon Queens are best known for breeding Buckfast queens — bees prized for calm temperaments and prolific honey production. Alongside their respected breeding programme, they produce small‑batch, award‑winning honey including classic spring and summer varieties as well as distinctive single‑source nectars like hawthorn. Their honey has earned recognition at the Taste of the West awards, underscoring the quality and local character of their produce.
Quince Honey Farm
One of Britain’s most established honey producers, Quince Honey Farm was founded in 1949 and has become synonymous with Devon’s honey heritage. Still family‑run, they produce a broad range of seasonal honeys — from clear Devon wildflower honeys to rich Heather and Ivy honeys — each reflecting the countryside from which the bees forage. The farm doubles as a visitor attraction, offering tours, honey tastings, beekeeping experiences, and even beeswax candle rolling.
